Pastor Eric L Reynolds serves as the beloved Senior Pastor and Founder of Faith Tabernacle Church in Houston, Texas, a flourishing entrepreneur and the Vice President of Power Living Mission. He is a native Houstonian. He started working in ministry at the early age of fourteen years old where he taught a Sunday school class and participated in the Bus ministry. At the age of twenty-one he accepted the call of ministry and he served as an associate minister at, his father, the Late Charlie Reynolds' Church Full Gospel Baptist Church. He also served and was ordained by Pastor Elder James Bedford of Word of Deliverance holiness church.
His humble beginnings started on a street called Ferguson Way on February 6th 1985 with his wife and family as his only members. As he began to obey God the multitude followed. He often jokes about the size of that building saying,"that the church was so small that when people received prayer they would almost fall out of the building". But because of his faith in God and not despising small beginnings the Lord blessed him for his faithfulness and many souls were saved, set free and delivered. He was then led by God to go Homer St. to help restore and revive his father's church. After his assignment was completed the Lord directed him to Neyland where the church currently resides.
Pastor Reynolds graduated from George Washington Carver High School in the Acres Homes area. He later attended the Institute for Teaching God Word in Rockdale, Texas where he graduated with a Bachelors of Art in Gospel Ministry. He is the Vice President for Power Living Missions a non-profit drug rehabilitating facility that helps men overcome drug and alcohol addiction. He has supported and partnered with local and foreign initiatives ranging feeding and providing backpacks to poverty stricken children in Africa to providing emergency shelter and food for displaced Katrina Victims.
He is a man of tremendous faith and is committed to teaching God's people that the "Just Shall Live by Faith". He has dedicated his life to the work of the ministry, serving the community, and helping people, regardless of background and economic status, to achieve their maximum potential in Christ. The unique ministry of Pastor Reynolds is fresh and encompasses a Rhema word in season.
Eric Reynolds was found faithful in the sight of God and desired a helpmate. The Lord blessed him with a beautiful, strong and classy woman named Debbie Randall. They got married on August 16, 1981 and still remain in love and committed to each other to this day. The Reynolds are proud parents of four children Erica Reynolds, Eric Reynolds Jr., Julia Reynolds and Shaun Hall.
Today Faith Tabernacle Church continues to prosper and bloom as a ministry that not only touches, but changes lives.
